How Much Do Restylane Injections Cost?

By Virginia Anthony

Beauty goes with a price. Every person prefers to attain a younger looking face just as they grow older. They'd go to any lengths to rejuvenate themselves. There are surgeries like cosmetic surgery, there are certain methods like mesotherapy, there are injections like Botox and there are dermal fillers. Of all dermal fillers, however, there is one that is cheaper compared to others. It's called Restylane.

Of course these are expensive but for many people this method is affordable. Restylane is dermal filler using a natural product called hyaluronic acid gel. It is a Swedish invention, which has found favor with almost ninety countries in the world and is acquiring momentum.

The expenses may range from a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars per treatment and the patient may need eight to ten of them before he is fully satisfied and his appearance has improved a great deal. Restylane treatments can range from $275 to $445 per treatment depending upon the volume of Restylane used and the amount of area to be covered.

There are barely any side effects. Restylane is now the most popular of treatments for dermal filling and rejuvenation. This nearly resembles the hyaluronic acid found in all living substances hence there is no fear of rejection or allergy except in very few people. Millions of people are having these injections to remove the tell tale signs of aging.

The treatment is also simple. The doctor distinguishes the problem area and then injects the hyaluronic gel into it. This could take about twenty to thirty minutes. The area may redden, or become itchy, or swell or hurt a little. But soon all this will vanish and he can see the result soon. The lines and wrinkles soften, lessen or disappear, the troughs under the eyes get filled up and the crow's feet beside the eyes soften.

Depending upon the area to be treated, his age and skin type, the treatment can last for about six months. Some people need only one sitting but many need multiple ones. Some may need up to ten treatments before being fully satisfied. The patient should also be over eighteen years of age, should not have any skin problems, should not be pregnant or lactating and should be in good physical and mental health. He should have a realistic approach and not expect miracles.
